Game one was a sloppy affair at best with the Boston Celtics edging the Cleveland Cavaliers. It seems that both teams wanted to win the turnover battle (which Boston won 21-17). The Celtics should be congratulated for limiting LeBron James of the Cavs to only 12 points on 2-18 shooting. Holy cow man! They also forced him to commit 10 turnovers. On the other hand the Cavaliers stopped the Celts' Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Together they also shot 2-18! Kevin Garnett was one of the bright spots for Boston with 28 points. Although the Celtics shot better as a team, the final score really didn't indicate it. It was a low scoring affair, dominated by the defenses. The final score of 76-72 seemed like a college score. Next: Game 2, Thursday in Boston.
