NBA First Round, Game 2

Utah and Cleveland both won to take 2-0 leads in their respective series against Houston and Washington. I thought the Wizards would be more competitive against the Cavaliers in Game 2, with all those shooters on their team. But Gilbert Arenas is not himself yet and they have to shoot better and defend better as a team. I think another Wizards problem is their uniforms! Man, those are hideous! Does anybody like them? Black shorts and a brownish-golden shirt? And what about that shove by Brendan Haywood on King James! This isn't street ball, is it? That was definitely scary, not just for Cleveland, but for the whole NBA nation not to mention the TV networks. Kudos to the Cavs for winning handily.

I saw most of the Jazz-Rockets game and it looks like this series will end early. Even though the Rockets beat the Jazz at home in the season opener, only 3 other teams have won in Salt Lake since then. The Rockets are reeling after losing the first two games of the series at home. How often does that happen in the playoffs? My hat's off to Deron Williams who played great despite a sore bottom. In game one, Deron was also quick enough to defend speedy Aaron Brooks of Houston.
