Basketball Mysteries Solved

David West
is a 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward for the New Orleans Hornets of the NBA. A few years ago the Hornets had a player named David Wesley, who was a 6- foot-1, 203-pound guard. West played for Xavier in college, Wesley played at Baylor. As I remember, Wesley was a great shooter. He played for several teams in the NBA including the Charlotte Hornets before they moved to New Orleans.

Rafer Johnson was indeed an Olympian athlete, not to be confused with Rafer Alston, the standout guard for the Houston Rockets. Johnson won the Gold Medal in the decathlon at the 1960 Olympics in Rome, Italy. He has lived a life of service ever since. Alston is a 6-foot-2 guard from Fresno State.
